AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60622 (UKRAINIAN VILLAGE)

This sweet family has 2 children: 4.5 year old boy and 2 year old girl and is seeking a reliable, dedicated and engaging After-School Nanny to stay with thier family long-term. Duties include: pick children up from school, drive to/from after-school activities, prepare a snack for the kids, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with the children--read books, sing songs, games, toys, outside, sensory play, sports, etc., take to nearby playgorunds, parks, library, etc., empty backpacks and lunch boxes for the day, tidy  up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, errands, family laundry, make lunches for the kids, organizational projects and pet care--feed, let out, walk dogs. Kids are in school until 3:15pm, so household management duties should be done during the time they are still in school. Parents work from home. The ideal candidate will be very organized, dedicated, punctual and patient. 

Work days and hours::

Option 1 (20 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 1pm-5pm, 1:30pm-5:30pm or 2pm-6pm

Option 2 (20 hours/week-split schedule): Monday-Friday: 7:30am-8:30am/9am and 2pm-6pm 

**Flexibility to help with Saturday date nights would be a plus--but not a must!

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.


*Family has 2 dogs--terrier mix

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--TAKE HOME
