AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60647 (WICKER PARK)

This busy family has 2 children: 8-year-old boy and 6-year-old girl and is seeking a loving, responsible and active After-School Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: pick up children from school,  drive to/from after-school activities, ensuring kids get back-packs emptied and start-up homework, prepare after-school snacks, getting dinner started, engage and play with kids in developmentally appropriate activities, take to parks, library, museum, swimming, etc. dishes, laundry, tidying up common areas, picking up clutter, organizational projects and run errands as needed--ex: groceries, prescriptions, household supplies, dry cleaning, mail, returns, etc. The ideal candidate will be engaging, proactive and reliable.. Parents work from home.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday (20 or 25 hours/week): 1pm-6pm or 2pm-6pm (if Nanny starts at 1pm, more household management duties will be needed since children are in school)

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver with a clean driving record. It would be a big plus for Nanny to use their own car and will be reimbursed. However, if a must, can use family vehicle for driving kids and errands. 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--based on experience

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 4 sick days.
