FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in WINNETKA, IL 60093

This active family has 3 children: 7 year old girl, 5 year old boy and  almost 3 year old boy and is seeking an outgoing, outdoorsy and organized Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. 7 year old and 5 year old will be in full day school and 3  year old 1/2 day school, so the position will be combination of nanny duties (when children are home) and household management duties (when children are in school or napping).

Duties will include: organizational projects (toys, art cabinets, kids' closets, pantry, etc.), tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, run errands as needed, meal preparation and cook meals, store exchanges, pack/unpack for trips, take family vehicle to get gas, car wash, maintenance as needed, drive children to/from school and after-school activities, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, prepare snacks and meals for kids, ensure children do their homework, set up playdates, play board games, sports, arts and crafts, go outside, take to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, swimming, etc. and kindly (with patience, games, silliness, etc.) help implement chores for children (ex: clean up their toys, make snacks/help with dinner, put dishes away, etc.). Mom works from home most of the time. Husband travels for work most of the time. 

Home is screen-free, so Nanny should be very engaging, creative and active with the children. The ideal candidate will be flexible, playful, silly, compassionate and loving. 

Work days and hours (35 hours/week):

Monday: 1pm - 6pm (Flex to 1-9 in the Fall/Winter and one other day will start later to accommodate)

Tuesday: 8am - 6pm

Wednesday: 8am - 6pm

Thursday: 8am - 6pm

*Flexibility to stay later on occasion (typically when dad is traveling)

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver. Nanny will need to use her own car and get reimbursed for mileage.


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor directly-dependent on experience.

Benefits: 3 weeks paid vacation (2 weeks aligning with family's), 11 holidays, 4 sick days.
