This busy family has 1 child: 4.5 year-old boy and is seeking an energetic, reliable and communicative Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Child is in school until 3:30pm so household management duties are to be done until child gets picked up. Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, meal prep, ironing-if candidate is open to this, run occasional errands, pick up child from school, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with child, play outside, arts/grafts, games, take child to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, etc.,  and bedtime routine on the days nanny is there later. The ideal candidate will be calm, kind, and creative.

NOTE: Child has allergies to: dairy, eggs, tree nuts and dogs. Nanny must feel comfortable working with someone with food allergies and comfortable using an epi-pen. Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get it if hired. Nanny must also not live in a house with dogs around.

NOTE: If nanny can travel with family 1-2 times a year that would be a big plus-but not a must!
 

Work days and hours:

Monday: 2pm - 7pm

Tuesday: 3:30pm - 9:30pm

Wednesday: 2pm - 7pm

Thursday: 2pm - 7pm

Friday: 2pm - 7pm

NOTE: Flexibility for Thur to shift later hours--330pm-930pm on occasion. Flexibility for the later day to shift to another day after Jan 2025.

Monday-Friday: 8am-5:30pm

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver. Family will provide car for Nanny to use. If Nanny takes own car to work there is free street parking available.

Duties include: get children ready for the day (dressed, brush teeth, etc.), prepare snacks and meals for children (parents will already have these prepared), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities--ex: letters, numbers, colors, etc., sing songs, read books, play outside, do arts and crafts, play games, sensory activities, gross motor activities, etc., walk children to nearby parks and playgrounds, nap/quiet time after lunch for the kids, sometimes help with pick up from school for oldest child on Wednesdays,keep children's play areas neat/tidy, dishes after snacks/lunch, etc., children's laundry, assist with potty training for toddler, empty out diaper genies as needed and restock diapers/wipes as needed.

The ideal candidate will be very creative and engaging/not on their phone during the day, happy, kind and punctual as both parents are Dr's. Nanny must also be comfortable following their parenting philosophy-- gentle parenting approach with boundaries--talking through feelings, etc.

**Nanny must be CPR certified or willing to get certified if hired and be vaccinated for all necessary vaccines + the flu shot during flu season.

Duties include: newborn care (feeding, diapers, naptime), getting on the floor and playing with the kids, creating structured age-appropriate activities, playing outdoors, going to parks/playgrounds, making meals for the children, doing the children’s laundry, picking up toys/organizing them, tidying up the children’s rooms, and tidying up the kitchen.
