This busy family has 1 child: 4.5 year-old boy and is seeking an energetic, reliable and communicative Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Child is in school until 3:30pm so household management duties are to be done until child gets picked up. Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, meal prep, ironing-if candidate is open to this, run occasional errands, pick up child from school, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with child, play outside, arts/grafts, games, take child to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, etc.,  and bedtime routine on the days nanny is there later. The ideal candidate will be calm, kind, and creative.

NOTE: Child has allergies to: dairy, eggs, tree nuts and dogs. Nanny must feel comfortable working with someone with food allergies and comfortable using an epi-pen. Must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get it if hired. Nanny must also not live in a house with dogs around.

NOTE: If nanny can travel with family 1-2 times a year that would be a big plus-but not a must!

Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the 7,000 square foot condo, make beds, change bed linens, load/unload dishwasher, polish silverware, clean outdoor patio as needed, organizational projects, run occasional errands, grocery shopping, water plants, pack/unpack for trips, accept deliveries, wait for repairs, maintenance services as needed, family laundry--there are several designer pieces--so someone who knows how to care for certain materials, can separate what needs to go to dry cleaning, etc., ironing/steaming clothes as needed, some simple cooking--a few times a week and occasionally helping with pick up of children--ages 11 and 13 from school. There is another Housekeeper in the home 2 days per week to help with the cleaning.

The condo is in a high-net worth building; meticulously designed and maintained. There are several special finishes, fixtures, valuable art and furniture within the home. This person Must have experience working in an estate or home similar to this one. 

Couple works from home a few days a month. There is also another part-time Housekeeper in the home--2 days a week--to help keep up with the cleaning. Family keeps an exceptionally tidy and neat household. The ideal candidate will be efficient, careful, professional, confidential, knowledgeable and friendly. 

this is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the large home--high traffic areas cleaned regularly and less used rooms cleaned on rotation, picking up clutter, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, ironing, organizational projects, take trash out, prepare breakfast for kids in morning before school, meal prep--prepping kids' lunches, snacks, etc., prep of dinner and maybe some simple cooking 1-2x a week, grocery shopping, stock up on household supplies, running errands such as dry cleaning and returns, accepting deliveries, being there for maintenance services as needed, help with pick up/driving of kids after school 2 days a week, and help with party prep as needed--ex: prep space, get dinnerware out, etc. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, takes direction well and is comfortable with kids around in the afternoon (8 and 7).

**Travel: Family has a home in Indiana (about 1 hour and 15 minutes from Chicago). Housekeeper-Household Manager will need to come to this home in the summer--approx 10 weeks. During this time, the candidate doesn't have to work all 5 days--she can work 3 longer days instead. Candidate can use the family vehicle to drive to/from the Indiana home.
