FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60647 (Logan Square)

This active and positive family has 1 child: 11-month-old boy and is seeking a dedicated, fun, and composed Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term.  Duties include: no screens, plan activities, go on outings, create age-appropriate activities, meal prep healthy food for the baby, load/unload the dishwasher, take out the trash, do the family’s laundry (mostly when baby is napping), tidy play places and the kitchen, and let the dog out, feed and occasionally give the dog pills. Since mom works from home she will sometimes (mostly Fridays) take the baby to the park or take time to spend time with him. During this time mom will ask Nanny to bulk meal prep for future meals (ex: soups that can be frozen to be reheated later) and return packages. Household Management duties listed are what they need now, but as baby gets older and as time allows, they may ask for other additional household management tasks so candidate must be flexible to help with these.  MUST BE OR WILLING TO BECOME CPR/FIRST AID CERTIFIED and MUST BE GOOD WITH DOGS! The ideal candidate will be energetic, positive, and joyful. Candidate must be comfortable caring for two children under the age of 2 (they are hoping to expand their family soon). Family is really looking for someone who will grow with their family as needs change and stay with them for many wonderful years to come.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 6:30am-5pm (but can do 7am-5pm if needed)

NOTE: Traveling domestically and internationally is a must! Traveling could be once or twice a year.

NOTE: Occasional overnights a few times a year is a plus but not a must!

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver. Nanny will need to use own can and will be reimbursed for mileage. There is free street parking available.

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor (BEFORE TAXES)
