Why do you like working as a nanny?
I am very passionate about kids. I have been raised that way - to love children, to care about them and to give them the best because they are our future.
You had been working as a nanny for the family in Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 for a while. What did you like about that family?
I felt I was a part of the family. The boys were 3 and 4.5 year-olds when I started. Mother was working from home and it was a challenge for the children at the beginning. We worked on the issue together with the mother. The mother set very good rules (listening to the nanny, time-out when needed) and we got very good results then. The boys were active and every day at my work required a lot of energy and creativity.
What has been your experience working with MoniCare Nannies agency?
The placement process was very productive. They listened to my needs and let me choose which interviews I wanted to go to. I really felt that MoniCare was working hard in my best interests. MoniCare is one of the best Chicago nanny agencies I know.

You had worked as a nanny for the family in Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 for 4 years. What did you like about that family?
The mother of the family was a stay-at-home mother, so we worked together as a team to provide the best possible care for the children. The twin girls were only 4 weeks and the boy was 4.5 years old when I started. Every day was extremely busy. The mother told the children that there were 3 people they had to listen and respect mostly – a mother, a teacher and a nanny. That is exactly how it was all 4 years. Absolutely a wonderful family!

The agency told me about the family and their main requirements before my interview with them which made me feel more confident and better prepared. MoniCare also provided me with interviewing tips and made recommendations based on my own personal situation. The agency was very encouraging and supportive of me.
