Once mom goes back to work after the baby is born (in mid June), nanny will be responsible for newborn care. Duties include: ensure girls are ready for the day (dressed, brush teeth, etc.), prepare simple and healthy snacks and meals for the girls, driving girls to/from school/activities as needed, engage and play with girls in developmentally appropriate activities--games, arts and crafts, play outside, baking, etc., helping with e-learning as needed (both are pretty self-sufficient, but younger child needs a little more help--(getting Zoom set up, helping with reading on some assignments, etc.), tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry, meal preparation, help get dinner started as needed, organizational projects, feed/let dog out as needed and run errands as needed. The main priority is the children, but family would love for the nanny to do some of the household management duties when children are in in-person school. Parents are working from home. The ideal candidate will be proactive and helpful, fun and easy to work with.
This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.
Work days and hours:
Monday-Friday: 8:30am/9am-4:30/5pm
NOTE: This is a sample schedule. Family can guarantee 40 hours/week, but schedule might fluctuate a bit week to week so nanny must be flexible. (ex: later start time, later end time, etc.). Flexibility to help out with an occasional weekend or evening would be a plus--with advanced notice.
NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver and have own car to get to their home. They have a family vehicle to use, though, for any driving of the children.
Salary: $18-$22 per hour TAKE HOME

The ideal nanny will be knowledgeable in infant development and will be very engaging and coming up with activities to do with him, be very loving and a good communicator. Parents are currently working from home at the moment. Nanny must be following all necessary COVID precautions seriously.
