We have followed up and asked her a few questions:

Why do you like working as a nanny?
I just love children. I love seeing them grow wiser every day. I feel happy being an important part of their lives. I am also a mother of 4 children, whom I have raised myself. Children truly are our future and deserve to have the best upbringing possible. 

You have been working as a nanny for the family in Chicago, IL 60657 for over 2 years now. What do you like about this family?
It is pure pleasure to be working for such a wonderful family. The parents are very intelligent and always diplomatic. The twins were just 3 months when I started working and now they are happy, healthy and active 2.5 year olds. I worked as a flight attendant for 18 years before I became a nanny. I know all about safety and I am happy to adapt this experience and teach children how to behave safely and avoid dangers in everyday situations. Of course, we learn letters, numbers, read books, go to the parks and do all kinds of fun things every day as well.

What has been your experience working with MoniCare Nannies agency?
I had a great experience with MoniCare. They invest a lot of time explaining all nanny hire related matters to families. That made my job search smoother and more productive. During a job interview parents and I could then concentrate on childcare related questions and my experience exclusively. MoniCare was always there to answer any additional questions that came up, assisted in salary negotiations and so forth. I am convinced that a family that goes through a nanny agency is better prepared to hire and retain a nanny for a long term.
